So, it's launch day!
I couldn't be more thrilled to have the book available for everyone. It's really been quite a crazy journey - but the "pregnancy" is over - let's get this baby out there!
People love to know the "behind-the-scenes" back story of any good tale. I've had the honor of being a guest on a number of different media outlets over the last few days, and each time, I'm amazed at the questions that come up.
Want to listen in on the "back story"?
He does an amazing job and I've been a fan of his show for quite some time. I loved how geeked out we both got around the actual core content of the book!
She's a pro and really delved into some of the most personal parts of the book. I'd never done a TV interview before, but she made it painless. (ps...that is the most make-up I've ever worn in my life!!)
Honestly, this guy is doing so much to help equip ministry leaders. He is generous with his time and expertise, and has a great thing going on here. We spent some time talking about how my book could really add value to a church's ministry. I also give away some insider-info about the book cover!
And for fun...here are 3 reviews by three friends on their own blogs!
Seriously - friends are awesome right?!
But all these folks aren't just friends, they are people to follow!
- Stronger Philanthropy's Mark Peterson (oh ya, and check out his new podcast!)
- Hannah Collins writes over at To Raise an Ebenezer - one of the wisest writers...well beyond her years!
- Choosing Butterflies', Lindsay Turner - she's a friend, writer and inspires me as she goes after life.
If you're reading this blog, chances are you have been tracking with me for a while. I want to say thank you for your support and encouragement.
As of today, over 2400 books have been sold, and over $13,000 has been given to the Love2Love Project. I'm humbled, thrilled, and completely blown away!
I hope to serve you well in the future and I can't wait to see how God uses the message in the book to encourage and help those who read it.
