Seek the Sweet

Christa Hesselink

This week, I have the great honor of being featured as a guest contributor to the absolutely lovely "Annesley Writers Forum"

I wrote an article called, "SEEK THE SWEET".

It wasn't until about a month ago that I was made familiar with this group, but when editor Christin Taylor asked me to contribute, I couldn't pass it up.

It's a lovely site bursting with thoughtful content for women, "who want to know and experience transformation for ourselves and for others."

I write about something very close to my heart. Something I try hard to remember. Something that reminds me that life is always sweeter when I experience it up close and take time to savor it all.

I'd love for you to head on over there - read the article, and browse around at some of the other inspirations!

AND... they are giving free copies of my new book away - how cool is that? Want in on that action...just read the article and enter to win.

For now...here's a quote that will get you musing on the "sweet"!

Life is a gift, totally given to you without cost, every day of it, and every part of it. A daily and chosen ‘attitude of gratitude’ will keep your hands open to expect that life, allow that life, and receive life at ever-deeper levels of satisfaction - but never to think you deserve it. Those who live with such open and humble hands receive life’s gifts, full measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over into their lap. In my experience, if you are not radically grateful everyday, resentment takes over.
