Author of Canadian best-selling book, Life’s Great Dare: Risking It All for the Abundant Life, Christa is a creative storyteller and dynamic communicator with a heart.
She is a well-respected speaker, workshop facilitator and retreat leader, and her focus content includes: transformation & vulnerability, living a better story, the inner-life of an effective leader, self & soul care.
In the span of her twenty-year career, Christa is known for her strategic, self-starting, and collaborative approach to working with teams. A project, where she is designing and delivering compelling experiences for people to tap into their potential, is where she flourishes.
Having mentored dozens of leaders over the years, her greatest satisfaction is in bearing witness to, and companioning people in their journey of transformation. She has a track record of developing thoughtful, value-driven, compassionate leaders.
She holds a Master’s of Leadership and a Master’s of Theology degree and has been named one of Canada’s Fantastic Christian Leaders and a “Hero of Children” from World Vision Canada.
Christa is the founder of the Love2Love Project which, to date, has given over $40,000 to vulnerable children in Syria and Mozambique. The goal is to raise $50,000 by giving 100% of her book proceeds to this project, and to inspire others to consider the type of love they have to share with others.
In recent years, her passions have led her towards helping people “slow down to wake up to their life”. Christa is a certified Leadership Grip-Birkman coach and creator of the Soul Way Retreat. There's always lots of ideas swirling in her head and heart, waiting to be activated!
Christa’s “happy place” is hiking on the trail. Her favorite adventure to date has been her solo trek across northern Spain, walking 800km on the Camino de Santiago. She loves traveling to new places, devouring podcasts, practicing yoga, cooking for friends, or curling up with a glass of wine and a good book.
